If you find yourself in need of assistance due to long NHS waiting periods, please reach out to us for support. We are committed to ensuring you receive the care you need in a timely manner.
We may be able to connect you with our doctor if you are located in or near London or Manchester. Please contact us for further discussion. While we are unable to cover the expenses of any subsequent treatment or procedure, we can often assist in obtaining the necessary diagnosis or identifying the appropriate treatment to alleviate concerns.
In cases where a member faces medical dismissal, as verified by the employer or union, due to the inability to secure essential scans or tests from the NHS within a reasonable timeframe, the Trustees will evaluate the possibility of covering the associated costs. In extraordinary situations, they may also approve a partial contribution towards treatment expenses if it aids the member in retaining their employment. However, it is regrettable that such contributions cannot substantially alleviate the overall costs involved.
