Everyone is entitled to a copy of the TBF Annual Report and Accounts. This is the law, but charities are allowed to charge actual costs for providing them. It is the policy of TBF to charge for providing these documents, which are in any event placed on the Fund’s website where they may be accessed free of charge.
Where someone wishes to have a printed copy of the Annual Report and Accounts, they will be charged actual costs and postage, but not charged for labor.
Consideration will be given to waiving this charge where the document is required by a member, dependant, employer or friendly party, provided it does not appear that there is vexatious intent.
A copy of the Constitution and Rules will be supplied free of charge to any member, dependant, employer or friendly party on request, provided there does not appear to be vexatious intent. In cases where such intent is believed to exist, a charge including postage will be made. The documents are, in any case, posted on the Fund’s website where they may be accessed free of charge.
Copies of the Constitution and Rules supplied to a member who is under threat of expulsion from TBF, at risk of the withdrawal of benefits or appealing to the Trustees will always be free of charge.
